Who does not know this sentence? Last year, we were once again subjected to monitoring by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) in August 2022.
We were able to quickly process the few deviations from the audit and we soon received confirmation:
“TAZ Servicetechnik GmbH & Co. KG has successfully passed its surveillance audit and continues to be accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025!”
At the beginning of December already, we received the notice from DAkkS that from 2.12.2022 on our new accreditation certificate with extended scope is valid. Anyone who has had experience of working with the German accreditation body knows that this is a very short period of time. Often the time between the audit and the notification of the certificate is much longer.
The accreditation scope itself in the certificate has been greatly simplified in a customer-friendly manner. For each matrix, it is now easier to see which elements can be calibrated in which concentration ranges. For the matrix titanium, among other things, the element hydrogen has finally been added.
Currently, the matrices aluminium, iron, magnesium, copper, nickel, titanium and zinc can be calibrated.
We are particularly proud of the extension of the accreditation scope for the calibration of spark spectrometers in the permanent laboratory. For our customers, this means that we are now allowed to calibrate mobile spark spectrometers in particular on site. This saves you travel costs and time, among other things.
Rental devices (mobile spark spectrometers), which can be rented via TAZ GmbH, are already equipped with the calibration certificates with the accreditation symbol.
At regular intervals, we offer used mobile spectrometers for sale. Depending on the device and customer requirements, these can be set up for the respective matrix with the corresponding measurement method. Of course, the devices are then also calibrated here on site.
We are always striving to meet all customer requirements. Therefore, we are also open to extend our accreditation scope to include other elements and metal bases. If you have any suggestions, we would be pleased to receive your feedback.
